Fault codes / P0562
Supply below threshold. On 24V Howo that is batteries, alternator or a rotten ground. Fake U-codes often follow.
Which trucks see it
WD615, WP10–WP13, MC11, ISM11. Worse in winter.
Symptoms
- slow crank
- random code pile
- cluster glitches
Likely causes
- Weak alternator or belt.
- Flat batteries, dirty posts.
- Bad cab/frame/engine grounds.
What to check
- Rest ~12.6 V per 12V battery; running 24V system about 27.5–28.8 V.
- Belt and pulley.
- Ground straps.
- If voltage is good at the batteries, measure at the ECU plug.
Can you keep driving
If it cranks strong, limp is fine. If voltage sags on the road, do not night-run it.
