Fault codes / P0335
ECU sees no crank teeth. No injection: cranks dead or dies on the road. Sensor sits at the flywheel on Howo.
Which trucks see it
WD615/WP10 Howo A7, WP12/WP13, MC11 Sitrak. P0340 is cam — different problem.
Symptoms
- cranks no start
- stalls and will not catch
- no RPM while cranking
Likely causes
- Bad CKP or air gap, swarf on the magnet.
- Open / oil in the plug.
- Damaged reluctor ring.
What to check
- Pull the sensor, check gap and metal dust.
- Ohm the shielded wire.
- Scope while cranking.
- Do not jam a new sensor in with the wrong gap.
Can you keep driving
No start — tow. If it is intermittent, you can limp, but it may leave you on the highway.
