FAW: J6 and JH6 fault codes online

FAW in the ChinaDiag form — models J6 and JH6. Engines are often Weichai WP, sometimes CA6DM. Fewer pure-FAW public cards than Howo/Shacman, but engine P/SPN and CAN codes are the same family.

FAW J6 · FAW JH6

J6 — common tractor/chassis; JH6 — newer packs with WP13/CA6DM3. Do not merge them in one form line.

Symptoms

• no pull, Check Engine;
• rail / boost fault;
• lost ECU communication;
• false codes on low 24V;

Frequent codes

• P0087 — low common-rail pressure
• P0093 — large fuel leak / CAN trap — FMI needed
• P0299 — boost below target
• P0335 — crankshaft sensor no signal
• P0340 — camshaft sensor — FMI needed
• P2563 — VGT position sensor
• P0562 — system voltage low
• U0100 — lost communication with engine ECU
• SPN 2898 — without FMI — not a diagnosis
• SPN 729 — intake heater — FMI needed
• P0088 — high common-rail pressure
• P1011 — HP pump metering valve fault
• P2263 — turbo / boost performance
• U0101 — lost communication with TCM
